Joanne Morrell aka The Hybrid Author is a childrens fiction author, interviewer and Podcast Host of the Hybrid Author Podcast. Inspiring and helping new authors on their journey with both traditional publishing houses and also to self-publish.

After having tried building a WordPress website herself, Joanne reached out to Thorn Creative for help to get a professional, clean website that matched the existing branding of her Podcast.

This website includes an online shop (WooCommerce) for the sale of books and eBooks, as well as integration with Spotify for playing podcast episodes directly on the site.

We’ve also made it super easy for Joanne to add new posts and episodes with Advanced Custom Fields and Custom Post Types. She just needs to fill in the blanks, saving her tonnes of time messing around with page layouts.
