Project Summary:
KirstyCole.com is a blog & recipe site dedicated to nutrition and natural health. Thorn Creative designed a website that appeals to the target audience (busy professional women and Mum’s). We also designed matching print advertising, social media profiles and managed PPC campaigns.

Back Story
If you’re wondering if Kirsty the account manager at Thorn Creative and Kirsty the health coach are one and the same… you are correct! Ten points to Griffindor my friend.
Before I co-founded Thorn Creative, I was working as a certified health and nutrition coach. While I still love nutritional science, coaching wasn’t the right fit. But after spending so many hours creating the content and website, I just can’t let it go. It was my baby for 5 years!
During that time, website work was falling into my lap without advertising, just from others seeing (and loving) the kirstycole.com website.
So as of July 2019, I have tweaked kirstycole.com to become a blog and platform to share my favourite recipes and nutrition information ad-hoc. While it might be cheeky to put my own website in the portfolio; it was driving clients to me before I had even decided to return to web design, so here it is, enjoy.

Gravity Forms
Gravity Forms is a robust contact form plugin for accepting a variety of submissions online.
MailChimp
MailChimp is an email list management platform. We integrated MailChimp with the checkout process, so the business can send follow up and promotional emails.
Social sharing
By integrating social media sharing buttons throughout the site, visitors can share any page easily with family and friends through their favourite social platform.
